PADOVA ENOTECA WALK

You will visit 2 wine bars (enoteche) in the ancient town center. In each wine bar, your personal sommelier will select two typical quality wines for you to taste, each paired with small local appetizers, called "spuncioni". We will start with white wines, and finish with red wines.
During your time together, you will learn about the most importants aspects of italian wine production and its role in italian culture. Regardless of your level of wine knowledge, you will find this walk both informative and fun. Your guide will be happy to focus on any particular wine topic that interests you most, including wine producing, tasting guidelines or pairing food with wine.

RATES:

PADOVA MARKET WALK

Padova is home to a rich culinary tradition, and some of the best open-air food markets in Italy. In this visit to the fruit and vegetables market in Piazza delle Erbe and Piazza dei Frutti, our gastronomic expert will guide you through the maze of fresh food stands, explaining the seasonal products, local traditions and specialties, and the importance of quality fresh ingredients in italian cuisine.
You will also tour the specialty wine, cheese and meat shops located under the Palazzo della Ragione, or "sotto il salone". Delight your senses with aged Parmigiano Reggiano, prosciutto, fresh olives and much more.
The visit will include plenty of time for tasting and dining recommendations. It's also a great opportunity to stock up on any regional ingredients you might like to bring home with you.
